Church in Stratford, Connecticut, where Joe is the Director of Music, the
"Elegy for September 11" opens with plaintive sounds from the flugelhorn and
ends with the instrument's breath sounds, conveying the sentiment that music
itself cannot express the depth of sorrow related to the horrific event.
